More Space Place in Jacksonville, FL brilliantly helped my husband and I solve a challenging problem in our 1-bedroom condo: how to make a tiny 9’X10’ media room work as an office and a guest bedroom.

First, genial owner Sue Corso showed us the extensive collection of attractive furniture, including bookcases and closets that artfully conceal a Murphy bed. The many styles of cabinets, desks, shelving and other items are available in assorted finishes, and in various materials for handles and pulls.

Second, professional designer Matthew Whaley drove to our condo and carefully measured every inch of the media room. The next step was to meet him back in the store at his “imagination station” computer, which is loaded with More Space Place’s customized CAD (computer aided design) software. We told Matthew what we wanted, where we wanted it, and he created a blueprint of our new office/guest bedroom right on the screen. He also made instrumental suggestions about colors and finishes.

Four weeks later, More Space Place’s builders delivered all the components to our condo. Jamie Lindsey and Ken Taylor installed everything – bookcase/Murphy bed, corner desk, file drawers, and cabinets – carefully and completely. They asked us our preference for the placement of certain things (openings for electrical cords). They were friendly, professional and punctual.

From start to finish, working with everyone at More Space Place in Jacksonville to create our custom-built office/guest bedroom, which is perfect, was one of the most successful experiences I have had with any retailer.

I want to let you know how pleased we are with the cabinets and desk you built into my daughter’s closet.  It is beautiful and is just the perfect size for all her needs with room to spare.

As you know, this was a surprise Christmas gift for my 11-yr old.  You were so helpful to arrange for your construction team to build everything while we were away. Once we returned, I showed her into her room and she literally broke into tears. She said, “I’ve always heard of people crying tears of joy, but this is the first time I’ve ever had them.”  She immediately set to work arranging her trophies and school supplies in the new space.

I can’t say enough about the quality of the work your team provided.  They were also able to use trim from the existing closet to finish off the new space giving it a true custom look.
